This Block allows users to customise Moodle to their visual needs and supports changing of text sizes and colour schemes.

This Block allow users with the site configuration capability (Administrators) to export and import the site settings to .xml presets. This course area is no longer available because admin presets is integrated in Moodle core from 4.0.

This Block generates graphs intended to facilitate pedagogical decisions. The graphs have zoom capabilities and allow fast communication with students via email.

This Block provides a form for teachers to book one-to-one appointments with Students. The Student can be notified of the appointment via email, and it will be added to both users' calendars.

The Attendance register plugin enables sophisticated reporting on the time spent online (and optionally offline) by Students.

Auto Enrol is an Enrolment plugin that allows you to automatically enrol a user into a Course using a selection of criteria.

Big Blue Button is a free and open source (FOSS) web conferencing system developed primarily for online and distance education. A plugin integrates BBB as a standard Moodle activity.

This module is great for managing participants and subscription to (online or offline) Courses and events.

Buttons is a course format that creates a menu with buttons to access the sections, one by one.

This module allows for the dynamic generation of certificates based on pre-defined conditions set by the Teacher.

This Checklist activity module allows a Teacher to create a checklist/todo list/task list for Students to work through, and also features a connected Block.

This Chess Block plugin offers you the possibility to play chess in Moodle against a computer. It's not going to change your life - but it's great fun smile
The Collapsed Topics course format is similar to the standard Topics format, except that all Topics (except '0') can be 'toggled' on and off.

This plugin is no longer required as Moodle's Week course format can 'Show one section per page' anyway now smile

The Completion Progress Block is a time-management tool for Students and displays activities with activity completion settings.

This block is a Moodle custom reports builder. You can create custom reports without SQL knowledge. It's a tool suitable for admins or teachers.

The Course Contacts Block displays a list of Teachers in the Course and various methods for communicating with them.
The Course contents Block produces a table of contents for the course - a list of all visible sections (Topics or Weeks) in the Course. Clicking on one of these links will display that particular section - it's very cool smile

This Block allows Teachers to see the estimated dedication time in a Moodle course by the Students.

This module allows Students or Teachers to start a private two-way dialogue with another person.

The eMailTest plugin allows administrators to test Moodle's email system. A trace of the SMTP dialogue will be displayed if the email message cannot be sent for any reason.

This Block creates a Facebook styled comment box with Like, Recommend, Reply and custom number of comments.
Faces is a simple Block that allows you to display user profile pictures for your Moodle course. It's very useful for those of us who need to "put a name to a face". Faces can be viewed/printed for the entire Course or by Group.

The Game module allows you to create games right within your course such as crosswords, hangman and 'Who wants to be a millionaire?' !

This Block creates a graph displaying visitors statistics. It can be added to the Front Page where it shows site visitors, or to a Course where it shows visitors to the Course only.
A topics based format that uses a grid of user selectable images to pop up a light box of the section.
This module allows Students to enrol themselves in a Group within a Course. The Teacher can select which Groups Students can chose from, and the maximum number of Students allowed in each Group.
The Group self-selection activity allows Students to select a Group in the Course that they want to join. Optionally, Students can create new Groups.

H5P is now integrated with Moodle so this course has been removed.

The Hotpot activity module enables Teachers to add Hot Potatoes and TexToys Quizzes in Moodle courses. The quizzes are created on the Teacher's computer, and then uploaded to the Moodle course.
This module allows a Teacher to ask Students to reflect on a particular topic. The Students can edit and refine their answer over time.

The Lightbox plugin allows you to create image galleries within your Moodle course. The Lightbox system is a set of scripts than can be used to apply various effects to image galleries.

This Mindmap plugin allows you to create and save simple mindmaps directly from within Moodle.

This Block provides a 'leader board' in a Moodle course. It can assign points based on activities Students complete and be viewed by week, month or all time.

This is a simple Report which displays the user pictures for all users enrolled in the Course.

Simple Certificate can be used by Teachers to add a new certificate, and the certificate text are full customizable, using special text marks that will be replaced by variables (like student name, course name, grade).

A simple JavaScript clock that highlights the time difference between a user's local time and the Moodle site server time.

The Stamp Collection plugin allows a Teacher to give "stamps" (i.e. picture with a comment, similar to badges) to Students so they collect these stamps.
This plugin displays static information pages (usually HTML) that exist outside of any courses, such as FQA pages for example, complete with Moodle Navigation and Theme.
This is a simple Moodle filter which creates tabs in textfields. To create tabs in textfields where the filter is activated, you just use a simple syntax.

A Block that allows users to quickly change the Theme (without visiting their Preferences). It's also great for Theme developers !

A course format which displays course topics as "Tiles", in a grid rather than as a list. When clicked, tile content is displayed under the tile with an animated transition. The layout adapts to different screen sizes and orientations.

This Block enables users to see Forum discussions that are currently unanswered.
